Venus will meet Apollo at Limassol Old Port

September 27th has been established as the World Tourism Day and this year's special theme "Tourism for all - Promoting universal accessibility" invites us to realize and remember that each person, regardless of movement, cognitive or sensory difficulties have access to tourist services, transport means to nature, museums, shops, restaurants, hotels and other facilities. 

The Cyprus Tourism Organization supports the effort to develop and promote accessible tourism, actively and at various levels. The Organization’s activities, beyond project grants & sponsorships, various conferences, proposals within the framework of general planning of Cyprus disability, preparation 'Standard guidelines for proper adjustment and evaluation of the hotel business accessibility' and ' guide for people with disabilities, embraces the issue of improving accessibility to / from Cyprus beaches, with particular sensitivity to the issue of accessibility for people with disabilities. 

Dedicated to the World Tourism Day, Limassol Municipality is organizing a special event “A Journey to Myth”. This Sunday at 19:00, at the Old Port "Venus meets Apollo".
