Those who spent Christmas in the snow were certainly the lucky ones. There is nothing more fitting for this celebration and this season. Those, on the other hand, who were left behind, still have a chance to experience their own white fairy tale, to create their own smiley snowman and take pictures in a scenery that we usually only see in paintings or photographs from northern countries.

Troodos still remains covered with the white cloak, while the snow never stopped falling, despite the general improvement of the weather. Forecasts for the next few days indicate that there will be a new heavy snowfall, which is expected to renew the layers of snow in mountain areas. The new year seems to be arriving in the same winter mood in which 2016 bids farewell and excursions to the mountains still are an ideal choice for these days.

The photos shout it out loud: a trip to the Troodos is the best idea you can have for the coming holidays, maybe even the best gift for both adults and children. Those who will get in the car to drive towards and through the snow should keep, of course, all precautionary measures and follow the traffic instructions of Police . Apart from these, all you will need is warm clothes, good company and a positive mood.
