After an extensive renovation, which lasted almost 1 year, Columbia Beach Resort returns radically refurbished, both in its indoor and outdoor areas. The largest change is probably the fact that the luxurious 5-star resort now has 169 suites in total to host its guests.

The result of the renovation is the unification of 2 hotel units, by using the same decorative elements and colors. Thus, Columbia Hotels, in collaboration with the design office of Vakis Associates, has decided to turn 96 rooms of the older hotel unit to 53 modern suites and family suites of 60 — 8- square meters, with leisure and luxurious facilities, from the sitting area to the bathrooms, and a sea view. These suites were added to the ones of the most recent unit, to sum up to 169 suites in total. 

For the change of the image of the hotel, much attention was given to the upgrade of the bars and restaurants, especially Apollon and Ouzeri, while an open air kitchen was established by the pool. Additionally, aiming to better serve young families, the resort has created 2 kids areas for children of all ages. Finally, this special resort, which opened again on September 1^st 2017, allows its guests a panoramic view to its facilities and the surrounding area, through a modern elevator.
