Pavlos Kontidis is now a graffiti in Limassol!

After the inauguration of the sculpture in honor of the Olympic sailing champion, Pavlos Kontidis, a few months ago, the revelation of a graffiti which represents the athlete with the Olympic medal, came along. The project is located on the wall next to the sculpture of the sailor, outside of the Limassol Nautical Club.

The project was created by the well-known graffiti artist of the city, Edmon, who is a main actor in the annual Street Life Festival, which takes place every year in the city center. The picture represents the athlete in a very familiar image, with the silver Olympic medal won in London in 2012. The creation of the project, according to LNC, was an initiative of the Olympic Channel.

Recently, Pavlos Kontidis was awarded among other outstanding athletes of the Nautical Club and on this occasion he wished for the proper conditions so that more children have the right to dream of 1 medal. A typical case of such an athlete is the 17-year old sailor, Orestes Germanos, who already has participated in international sailing events with notable achievements and considers Pavlos Kontidis his role model.
