While the German Oncology Center is expected to begin its operation this coming September, the Cyprus University of Technology will be granting Dr. Nikolaos Zamboglou an Honorary Doctorate for the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering.

The honorary grant comes as a result of the invaluable and international contribution of Dr Zamboglou, Professor of Radiotherapy Oncology at the Offenbach Hospital. Dr Zamboglou has treated over 10,000 patients until now, through radiotherapy treatments.

The distinguished oncologist is the founder of the modern oncology center in Limassol, with the foundation of which he aims to offer his services to his home land, after his impressive academic and scientific career in Germany ever since the 1970s. The ceremony for the granting of the Honorary Doctorate will take place on 19/5/2016 at 19:00, in the presence of the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades.
