Limassol’s great park takes you straight from one side of the city to the other!

If you don’t get out on this long weekend of May 1st, when are you going to? No, not being able to get out of the city is not an excuse in Limassol. You may have not realized it, but this city is full of cooling, green routes that reach down to the beach side. Garyllis is among its largest parks, streaming down the side of the river’s bank and it is all you need to feel the spring on your skin.

This linear park basically runs through the western Limassol, just as the river’s waters used to back in the days. The route connects Polemidia with the town center as well as the beach, reaching to the entrance of Limassol Marina. From there on, the blues of the waterfront open up, along with the spacious areas at the docks and the seafront park.

Safe routes for cyclists, both for the sake of exercise and entertainment purposes as well as for alternative mean of transportation instead of using a car from the northern neighborhoods to the shopping center, and also to the areas of a special interest make clear that you should spend some hours there with friends or family this long weekend.
