The renovated Pattichion Municipal Theatre, will be hosting its 1st show after several years, just a few days before the official opening ceremony on November 25th. The curtain will open for the musical tribute "Marinella.... 60 years of songs" with many talented artists paying their respects to the great female voice of Greek music scene.
Having completed all necessary procedures for the smooth operation of the new theater, Pattichion embarks with the best omens to fulfill the vision announced by its artistic director, Vasos Argiridis, to make the Limassol Pattichion an institution of strong cultural development and an essential cultural core for the design of intense artistic creation.
On Saturday, November 12th Patticheion makes the 1st step with the Dreams Choir and Elena Solea presenting the tribute "Marinella .... 60 years of songs", a performance of the greatest songs ever sung by the ifamous singer.
The Children' s Choir of Dreams, a 12 member orchestra under the directions of Constantinos Zorbas, Ilaria and Valeria dance dance group, the Limassol Folklore Group and the percussions of Lefteris Moschovias, will also be participating. The majestic stage scenery will be edited by George Papadopoulos - Skinotechniki, and costumes are a creation of Vayia Solea.
The show is held under the auspices of wife of the President of the Republic, Mrs Andri Anastasiades, and the net proceeds are intented for the support of the Independent Social Support Carrier.
The President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, will cut the ribbon at the official opening ceremony on Friday, November 25th.
The show will take place on November 12th at 20:30.
