First time Kataklysmos at Ypsonas in a Survivor terrain!

Ypsonas may not have a beach outlet, and the majority of the residents may originate from the mountainous Lofou, but this year Kataklysmos will be celebrated in a spectacular manner. The Municipality, wishing to establish an annual, summer event both for the residents of Ypsonas and those from neighboring areas, is setting up an amazing day with… Survivor vibes.

At the green terrain of “Stelios Chari” sports center, within the British Sovereign area, there will be 2 different setups for adult and children’s sports, which will tests the brave “survivors” on Monday, June 5th, from 9 am. The adult teams will have to run an 80 meter long terrain, balancing, dipping in water ponds, crossing through obstacles, crawling, climbing on walls, carrying water vessels and shooting dump sponges to hit a spot. Children’s teams, 8 – 12 and 13 – 17 years old, will have to go through similar tests, on an easier level and a shorter distance.

Those who won’t apply for the Survivor games, will have th opportunity to spend a beautiful and relaxing day full of games and plenty of water. The area, from early in the morning until late in the afternoon, will be hosting several spots for food and drinks, inflatable games for children and contests with prizes.

Registration for the Survivor games is valid until May 31st. A minimum demand is for the teams to include at least 1 female member. The participation fee for adults is €10 and for children €5. Winners of each category will receive a prize, which is €500 for adults and €120 for children.
