Find in Limassol the floating bed that brings dreams into reality!

We all have seen dream catchers somewhere. They are these circular crafts with elements referring to Indian tribes, that are used either as decoration in a space or - for those who follow the Indian philosophy - as "collectors" of bad dreams. In Cyprus, the dream catcher has become a bed and it seems that it actually only produces good dreams itself.

Stephanie is a young designer who manufactures the dream catcher beds. On the occasion of the weekend of the Mind, Body and Spirit Festival at St. Raphael Resort in Limassol, the floating bed has been set up next to the city’s sea, under the spring sun, and managed to become an attraction for little ones and grown-ups. The round construction with a mesh rope base, hanging from 4 metal poles, which form a cone, is creating a bed virtually in the air.

This bed, with the natural pendulum caused by the body weight on it, follows a smooth motion for 2-3 minutes, after someone lying on it. This is the time one needs to relax completely and be swiped away in a sweet sleep. This bed, according to the designer, is suitable for those who suffer from insomnia, nervousness or ADHD, but even for pregnant women and new mothers who are trying to relieve themselves from the stress of pregnancy. The structure can accommodate up to 450 kg weight.

Check out here how you can visit the exhibition Mind, Body and Spirit Festival in Limassol and try to sleep in the dream catcher bed.
