CUT, the state University of Limassol, is now a candidate among 34 countries in total for the European Business Awards as the best employer. CUT participates in the competition as an employer that has prevailed among the rest of the candidates in Cyprus, which means that it has emerged as the best employer in the country for 2016.

The video that has been prepared to represent the University in the awards, develops the axes upon which the University manages its human resources. As mentioned, CUT invests in its staff, implementing an employee-centered strategy. The University's policies themselves are, according to the presentation, formed with the participation of employees.

CUT considers the fact that the relationship of the organization with the staff is harmonized with its values as an academic institution, as an important element of its candidacy. With emphasis on innovation, collaboration, continuing education and volunteering, CUT is a candidate for another important distinction, proving that 2016 was not bad at all for the University.
