Now in CUT you can also learn skiing!

How many times have you dreamed these past nights that you were crossing the slope with skis, after watching photos of the snowy Troodos online? And how many of those times you had to land on the sad reality that you have no idea of skiing? CUT seems to have been sharing your disappointment and found a way to get you out of the impasse and your vain reverie.

The CUT Sports Bureau, taking advantage of the snowfall in Troodos announces an extraordinary course of ski classes by Zenon Aristeidou, a graduate physical education teacher with relevant expertise, who cooperates with the Office. The courses are intended for beginners. Because of the sport seasonality 2 groups will be assembled and each group may consist of 6 to 10 people.

The aim is, at the end of 5-6 classes of the course, lasting 90 minutes each, for a beginner to be able to ski at the slope. The courses are scheduled for December 27th, 28th, 29th and January 3rd, 4th, 5th (6 classes of 90 minutes in total for each group).

Hours:
Group 1: 10:00 to 11:30
Group 2: 11:30 to 13:00

Participation fee for the courses: Students for free - €20 for the rest of the CUT stuff. The transportation to Troodos is up to each one of the participants. The equipment is upon the responsibility of the Sports Bureau.

Entries can be submitted online here. The deadline for entries expires on 23/12/16 at 11 am.

The information meeting will take place on Friday 23/12/2016 at 12:00 pm in the ground floor of the Studies and Student Welfare Service building.
