This year’s celebration of Anthesteria did surpass any expectations. Completing 20 years as part of Yermasoyia Municipality annual events, this spring institution managed to attract even more people that filled the Potamos Yermasoyias and seafront area with vitality and vibrancy, both on Saturday 13/5 and on Sunday 14/5.

More than 5,000 attendees enjoyed the wonderful concert with Michalis Chatzigiannis and the Yermasoyia Municipal Choir on the opening day. People would fill the place from one end to the other and the sweet evening was pulsating with melodies, while earlier on the day, an exhibition with flowers, traditional products and professions allowed people to enjoy colors, scents and arts.

The colorful festival, with the participation of several different ethnicities has turned into a symbol of multiculturalism and it has been warmly received by even more participants from the entire Limassol. Emphasizing on even better organization, as well as the enrichment of activities throughout the 2 days, the Municipality is considering even more surprises for the coming years.
