A health and wellness resort combined with alternative sustainable tourist developments and residential developments is planned in Vasa Kellakiou by Fortune Health Resorts Ltd. It is a complex development plan worth €440 million to be completed in several phases, once it receives the “green light” from the relevant departments.

According to the plans presented, the project includes hotel and organized tourist apartments, medical center, medical day care center, 2 rehabilitation centers, wellness and health spa, self-contained and assisted living for seniors resort in detached houses, geriatric center with specialized nursing unit, Alzheimer's and related disorders center and 24-hour emergency department with ambulance, villas complex and large shopping center with leisure areas.

The future plans of the company is to proceed with even more developments in the area, such as a Technology Park and a University School wich will focus on education and research in the fields of Health and Wellness and Autonomous/ Assisted Living for the Elderly.

The aim is to make Cyprus a quality tourism destination with high-income visitors throughout the year, with particular emphasis on the principles of sustainable tourism.
