A rise of 82% for property sales in Limassol

Limassol still holds first place in property sales in Cyprus. Sales documents submitted in November 2016 increased at 249, in comparison to 137 in November 2015. Until now in 2016, Limassol saw a rise of 48% in comparison to the according period of time of last year.

On average the rise in property sales in Cyprus went up to 46%. The rise of 36% in sales to foreign buyers also consists an important indication.

The second largest increase was spotted in Paphos, where the number of sale documents went up by 74%, at 183. In Nicosia the increase was 43% with 86 sale documents. In Larnaca sales raised by 3%, at 114.

Sales decreased only in non-occupied Famagusta region. Sales decreased by 42% with just 19 sales documents submitted, in comparison to 33 last November. Still, sales in Famagusta during the 11-month period increased in comparison to last year’ s according period.
