10+ great events in Limassol Marina remind us why books are important

In the digital era, flooded with information and images, someone has to shake us and remind us of all those things - the irreplaceable ones - we owe to books. TRAKASOL Cultural Center and the bookstore K. P. Kyriakou organize the book exhibition "The book in our life".

A multi-day book festival will open its doors for the first time in TRAKASOL hall in Limassol Marina on November 26th. Besides the book exhibition, numerous events aim to enhance the multifaceted importance of books in all aspects of our lives.

For 12 whole days 10+ unique events have been scheduled: music, theater, book reviews as well as sociopolitical debates. Through them adults and children are invited to remember and embrace the gifts that books bring to our world.

All events taking place from November 26th to December 7th 2016 will be under the auspices of the Minister of Education and Culture Mr. Costas Kadis and the Limassol Mayor, Mr. Andreas Christou, The latter will also be inaugurating the opening of the exhibition on Saturday 26/11, at 11:30 am.
