The outrageous customs Limassolians came up with for the carnival!

Hundreds of outrageous customs were seen in the Limassol city center streets for the established “Tuesday ball”. The Medieval Castle Square was filled with people with crazy and imaginative crafted masks, who participated in a competition for the most inconceivable idea.

The winners were the customs themed “Economic austerity” and “The Limassol Times”, while there were many more that stood out, either embodying popular sayings, or dressed as statues or Free Wi – Fi. Even the ones that did not participate in the competition, had a great time with laughs, dancing and music.

The evening began with a parade, in which many people participated, following a route form the Municipal University Library at Agiou Andreou Street, to the Medieval Castle Square, were the award ceremony was held.
