Solonas Michaelides Record Museum

Solonas Michaelides Record Museum, houses his rare music record, personal belongings, manuscripts as well as family monument items. 

He was a Cypriot composer (worldwide known), teacher and musicologist. He created a choir that survives today named «Aris Choir», with which he presented opera (Dido and Aeneas) and oratorio classics as well as choral works. His archive was left to the Municipality of Limassol where he spent his most creative years.

The Foundation organizes the International Competition for Young Conductors ''Solon Michaelides'' in memory of this great musician.
