Panagia Valana Excursion Site (Lania)

Northwest of Lania, on a hill overlooking the entire village, there is the excursion site of Panagia Valana, a church of historical importance to the area. 

The facilities of the excursion site and playground are located amid a beautiful setting under the trees, between the old and new church. Featuring a total of 10 wooden benches, of which 2 have special signage for people with mobility impairment, a parking area, water fountain, and wheelchair accessible areas, the space can accommodate all kinds of groups and families. 

One of the area’s main assets is a modern, fenced play area, ideal for young children. The view from the outermost benches of the picnic site completes this idyllic atmosphere.
