The Italian band BandAdriatica, using elements of Balkan and North African music, gives the start signal for the musical part of the Cyprus Rialto World Music Festival.

Their journey begins with the traditional brass bands that usually play at feasts, funerals, parties and processions in Pulgia and travel at night from city to city.

The journey expands and looks at the entire Mediterranean Sea like a new“Babylon”, where all the languages coexist in harmony, around the popular melodies in the fervor of mulatto people at the Mediterranean ports.
