August full moon is always a bit more special. It may be that we are totally in a holiday mood already or the fact that the summer sky is just perfect for such a spectacle of the luminous disc of the moon.
This particular full moon, though, was even more special, since it happened upon the phenomenon of its partial eclipse, which was visible from our neighborhood, too. Thus, with the center of attention at the Old Port dock, where numerous people would gather to watch the phenomenon through telescopes and cameras, the night was dedicated to this spectacular moon.
Photos sure are the greatest proof, while the video by Romos Kotsonis is a great opportunity to relive the moments of that evening.
