Worldwide Aquathon Day @ Akti Olympion

Winter Swimmers’ and Friends Club presents a special event on the occasion of Worldwide Aquathon Day. The event takes place at the same day on the same time in 76 countries.

The event includes sea rescue demonstration by the Coast Police in collaboration with Limassol Lifeguard Unit, water choreography by Limassol’s Cheerleaders, demonstration of autonomous sea boat by Frederick University department of robotics, aquatic fitness, activirties by Cyprus International kite school, Windserfers on Tour, seniors of Sports for All, την Blue Thander diving team with treasure hunt in the depth and a team of accompanied kinds with autism making sand castles.

This year, just as the last one, donations will be made to the Association for People with Autism in Cyprus. In 2015 the amount of €1000 was donated.
