Keratea: The Black Gold of Cyprus @ Anoyira


The Cyprus Food Museum presents an amazing event for the carobs in the village of Anogyra, presenting the results of a 6-month research on the island's long-term connection with carob and its derivatives.

The event will include a brief lecture by Microbiologist Dr. Kyriaki Zannettou with the subject: "The carob tree as a herb in our lives" and the screening of a documentary by Paschalis Papapetrou titled: "Keratea: The Black Gold of Cyprus", filmed in Anogyra.
